It's a.....

....baby girl!!


Vanessa is a member of our meetup group of mom photographers. She is an amazing photographer, you can check out her work on her website Vanessa Brooke Photography.  Vanessa and her family are expecting a baby girl this winter and she had a great idea to let everyone know. The balloons were so much fun, and her little boy J loved them, too. He loved them so much he didn't want to let them go!

Laguna Beach Family Session: The L Family

Energy. That is the best word to describe this session and this family. They have lots of it! This session was a blast, complete with jumping in the water and backflips in the sand! Thanks L family for such a great time!

A Big Announcement!

I was so excited to meet up with the S Family for another session, this time to make a very important announcement! They are expecting baby #2! The Chino Airport was such a unique location, we even got to walk around and take some photos by the planes. Congratulations Jen, Kevin, and Katelynn!

What a cool way to tell everyone a new baby is on the way!

What to Wear Guides for Fall

Here are a couple of great examples of what to wear for a fall family photo session. I love that the colors all complement one another, without being too "matchy"!

SideKick with Kamee June

I finally was able to attend a workshop with Kamee June, one of my favorite photographers. I have been wanting to attend a Kamee June workshop for a long time, and when she launched her SideKicks I was finally able to get that opportunity. I learned so much about doing a family shoot, Kamee is amazing. A big thank you to Amanda for being so nice and helpful, and also to Katrina, who did such a beautiful job styling the session. Also, a shout out to Tom's Farms for letting us use their grounds for our session!

This gorgeous family was a dream to shoot. Cutest little girls ever. That Baby Ruby was not good for my baby fever...AT ALL!

Treasure Island Family Session: The M Family

High tide, big surf, and wind was waiting to greet us as I met up with the M family for a family session in Laguna Beach. The serene cove was a bit wilder than normal, but they were troopers (they even got a bit wet!). We took some photos on the beach, then played a bit on the park grounds in front of the Montage.

Hudson loved this tree, he was captivated by it and the birds. Aren't his eyes gorgeous?

Suzette & Costel

Once I am in business and have done dozens of sessions, I don't know if I'll ever top the excitement of this one. Suzette and Costel got engaged minutes before we started our session! They were so happy and excited about their engagement and their little boy that is on the way, and it really shows in all of their photos. Everyone that has seen their photos remarks about how happy and in love they look. They are going to have a very busy and exciting year, and I wish them the best!
